What is Women's Health?

Women’s health physiotherapy addresses the unique physical needs of women throughout life, focusing on issues such as pregnancy, menopause, incontinence, and musculoskeletal pain.

Pelvic health, a major aspect of this care, involves the treatment of pelvic floor dysfunctions that affect bladder control, bowel movements, and sexual function. Specialised physiotherapists provide tailored treatment plans, including exercises and education, to strengthen the pelvic floor and improve quality of life.

It's important to remember that it's never too late to seek help for pelvic floor issues. Many women delay getting support due to embarrassment, but early intervention can greatly improve symptoms and prevent worsening conditions. No matter the severity or age, positive changes can be made with the right care.

Why Choose Femina Physiotherapy?

Our Story

Meet Danielle - Physiotherapist

Hi, I’m Danielle, the founder of Femina Physiotherapy. For the past 14 years, I’ve been helping women move, heal, and feel their best through every stage of life.

My passion for women’s health grew after having my son 7 years ago, and since then, I’ve focused on empowering women to take control of their bodies and health. At Femina Physiotherapy, I provide expert care for pelvic pain, bladder and bowel issues, prolapse management, pregnancy and postpartum recovery, and a safe return to exercise.

I believe that every woman deserves to feel confident and strong, no matter where she is in her journey. My approach is caring, down-to-earth, and completely personalized to you.

Growing up in Chinchilla and going to boarding school in Toowoomba gave me a love for close-knit communities, and I’m proud to serve the Toowoomba area. Outside of work, you’ll find me exploring the great outdoors with my son—whether it’s camping, hiking, or just enjoying the beauty of nature.

I’m excited to partner with you on your journey to better health and well-being! Together, we’ll work towards your goals so you can feel your best, every day.
